King Edward Road Nursery is part of the Beacon Education, and is a busy thriving Day Nursery and Pre-school.  Early Years Education lays the foundations for your child's development and growth within their Early Years.   We spend time developing each child’s independence, confidence, resilience and curiosity by providing a fun, safe, secure and stimulating environment for them to be able to learn through play.

These opportunities plant the seeds of curiosity and passion as children begin their learning journey and explore the world around them. Children are encouraged to form strong, caring relationships within their key families to promote their confidence and self-esteem.

We recognise parents as the first and most important educators of their children. This is why we feel it is so important to work in partnership with you to provide the very best care for your child. We promote the seamless extension of home life through positive partnerships with staff and parents. We use the online journal platform Famly, where parental contributions are encouraged and valued.
