We are an Anglican / Methodist Foundation Middle school serving the needs of children aged 9 - 13 in Years 5 – 8 which sits at the heart of the community of Frome.

The children at Selwood Academy are a delight and they make coming to school exciting and enriching every day.  As Head Teacher, I feel very blessed to lead, develop and share their love of learning alongside our dedicated staff team.

As a school, our vision is to allow our whole community to “let your light shine before others.” This is underpinned by our Christian values of Hope, Wisdom, Community and Joy. Every act and decision that we undertake has this in mind.
